I'm Mary Macdonald and am currently attending Hogwarts. I'm a proud member of the Gryffindor House, woot woot! Go Gryffindor!!!
Some of my best buds are Doe, Marly, and Lily. Oh, and how could I ever forget that troublesome group of mischief managing boys...I do love them even if they can be a pain in the butt. :)
You might like to know that I'm big into quidditch and love playin' it rough and tough every once in awhile. But for all you dashing young lads out there, don't fret, I clean up very nicely after a hard day of qudditch practice...at least I like to think so.

I just want to sleep all day. Between schoolwork, Heads Duties, not to mention keeping regulatory Gryffindor chaos to a minimum, I could really use sleep.
Because it is the weekend, I am in need of ice cream and crying. Are you and all the girls game?

“You don’t have to worry mar. We can take care of ourselves. In the guys dorm we’re the marauders. As you might have heard we have three Animagi and a werewolf in there. As for you girls, I’ve seen the two of you on the pitch and off. Your combination of brute strength and quick action with a wand gives me more than enough confidence that you can protect yourselves. now Lily is fire and if shes lit I cant imagine the destruction she could cause. Then there is Doe. The Dark Lord himself would have to come after her cause she is the most brilliant and couragous witch I have ever met, no offense to the rest of you girls.”
”I know. I just…I panick ok?” Marlene said trying to explain herself. “And most of the time I’m logical enough to think that we can all defend ourselves. But sometimes I just worry. I mean can you really blame me?” She asked. “When you have people in the news everyday who are ‘casualties of this war?’ I can’t help but worry it’s going to be one of us next.” Some days when Marlene was feeling, particularly bad, she would all of a sudden shut up and just watch everyone else. Doe would make some excuse, about how Marlene wasn’t feeling well, and they’d go on as normal. Whenever this happened Marlene was determined to commit to memory the way everyone was. Because in the horrible event that one of them did die, Marlene wanted to be able to remember everything.
Mary rolled onto her side taking Marlene’s hand. “Everything will be okay. We all worry Mar. It drives me crazy that I can’t win either way. Regulus picked his side and there is no turning back. You know I chose my family back home over all of this a long time ago and yet Reg and I still try and make this work. Being on different sides changes things but we still try. I worry about it constantly and I know you are close with Reg too so I think you understand how hard it is. I want us to win but what if that means Regulus has to die? I don’t think I could handle loosing all of you but I think I would die if I lost him too.”
“Marlene you better stop crying now, you know I can’t control my emotions when I drink.” Mary exclaimed as tears started to form in her eyes.
“Stop it both of you none of us are going to die. People make it through war all the time and we are all going to be one of those people.” Remus said taking the bottle from Marlene so he could have more.
”Remmey I have been telling you this all year. Of course you have hope. Doe’s oblivious you have to be pretty straight forward with her or…she won’t understand. She still tries to see only what people want her too. Though she’s more perceptive than that. She hides it though.”
“What should I do then?” Remus asked, “Do I just walk up to her and ask her to go out with me?”
”Of course that’s what I’m saying. Now what other problems can we discuss?” Marlene said taking another drink of liquor. “Mary what’s wrong with your life?” She demanded turning to Mary.
“Nothing’s wrong.” Mary lied only cave the minute Marlene shot her the usual ‘I know’ look. “I’m scared I’m going to lose him Mar. School is half way over and soon we are going to graduate and what am I going to do when we can’t just avoid the question anymore?”
”You have two options really.” Marlene said once agian popping chocolate into her mouth. “You can either stop avoiding the question. Or you can continue to avoid it. Those to be honest are your only two options.” Marlene sighed. “To be honest I think your best bet is a mixture between the two. You can’t really completly avoid the question because then you’re both going to be on two seperate pages. So the least you could be is to at least talk about that. Decide if you are going to avoid it or talk about it…You at least need that much.”
“Maybe that will work. I mean last time I tried to talk to him about it he just kept calling topic change. I think maybe I should just ask him where we are. I mean if you love someone that’s the most important thing right?”

Remus shook his head wishing to rid himself of the black cloth that blocked his vision. Remus wasn’t one for surprises or well being led places he wasn’t familiar with.
“Now step.” Mary instructed. Remus followed suit only to stumble when he didn’t lift his foot high enough.
“You two are going to be the death of me.” Remus frowned hoping they would reach their destination soon.
”Yes well that’s the point.” Marlene said after the finally reached there destination. It was a secret room that Doe and herself used for their ‘secret chats’ she had warned Doe that she was bringing Mary into the secret and then they blindfolded Remus so that he wouldn’t find out where this place was. They closed the door behind him and then Marlene pulled off his blindfold. There was a huge inflatable air matress on the floor and next to it was the huge bottle of chocolate wine and a bucket full of chocolates. “SURPRISE!” Marlene and Mary yelled!
“I really hope you aren’t trying to seduce me. You two are great but I don’t think I’m quite your speed.” Remus chuckled as he looked around the room. “What is all this for anyway?” He asked. He must admit he was kind of relieved when Mary had told him they were dragging him out tonight, up until the surprise part. He knew he was stressed and assumed they knew too. It was nice having friends outside of the Marauders that cared so much.
”Nope. And your right I’m way better than you.” Marlene said grinning widely. “Anyway!” Mary interupted the sex talk. Marlene smiled then continued. “Mary and I noticed you had been very focused on your studying lately and we know how the boys are. So we have invited you to be the first boy to EVER be invited to one of our epic ‘girls nights’ Which now isn’t a girls night anymore.” Marlene said seeming confused for a second. “Yeah, So we are going to drink chocolate wine. Eat a whole bunch of chocolate, or sugar in mary’s case because the weirdo doesn’t like chocolate and talk about all the shit that’s going on in our lives.”
“You both know I’m not gay right?” Remus joked before shrugging, “You said chocolate so I guess I’m in. All this studying has been giving me a headache anyway.” Remus replied flopping down on the bed. “I guess this means you want us to talk about our feelings.” Remus smiled grabbing the wine and popping it open. “Some liquid truth might help.”
”We know. But You’re the best so You’ll go along with my crazyness. And I figured that’s why we kidnapped you.” Marlene laughed and flopped down next to him with Mary close behind. ” I demand you tell me about your feelings.” Marlene said in a deep voice trying to sound demanding. Then she laughed at herself. “Yeah drink the wine. It’ll make me sound less of an idiot.”
Remus took a sip from the bottle stretching as he did so.
“Classy.” Marlene smirked.
Remus gave her a mischievous grin before passing her the bottle and falling back against the bed. “I’m stressed.” Remus sighed staring up at the ceiling.
“We noticed.” Mary commented reaching for a bag of gummy worms.
“How are you both so calm all the time?” Remus questioned.
Marlene shrugged for a second then took a drink of the wine and then nodded to it. “I drink.” She answered passing the bottle to Mary. “Plus, I dont’ stress over school work, I mean a few classes that I’ll need to be an auror but other than that I just let it go.” Marlene sighed after poping a chocolate into her mouth. “I keep thinking there’s a war going on out there. No need to be stressed over what’s in here.” Then Marlene closed her eyes a took a deep breath. “And I lie. I lie alot.” She said. “I’m more worried than I seem.”
“How are you so content lying all the time? I feel terrible lying. It drives me crazy.” Remus said. He has no idea why it was all bugging him so much lately. maybe it was the fact that he didn’t know what to with his life or that school was ending and he felt like he was lying to most of his friends but it all felt so sudden. Marlene and Mary had been so nice to him and this year had brought them all closer together. He felt terrible not trusting them with his secrets especially with all the things Marlene trusted him with. Then there was Doe. What was he going to do about Doe? He had no idea what he would do without her.
“I don’t like to call it lying. I find it easiest to just avoid the topics. That is what Regulus and I do.” Mary said regretting bringing up regulus immediately. “Why are you keeping secrets anyway Remus. It can’t be that big of a deal. I mean we all already know you have a thing for Doe.”
“You’ve met my family right?” Marlene asked. “I was raised on lying.” Marlene shrugged. Then looked to Mary a smile on her face. “Yeah, and We know that Mary is sleeping with the enemy.” She winked at Mary, who elbowed her in the ribs. She stole the wine from Mary and took another swig passing it to Remus. “Alright time to come clean. I know you both probably already know this but I’ve never admited it so here you go. I am in love with Sirius Black and I don’t have the guts to tell him.” Marlene took a deep breath. “There you go. Secret out.” She said falling back onto the mattress.“Well I’m in love with Doe and I am terrified she is going to reject me.” Remus muttered taking a larger swig of wine. He had a feeling this stuff wasn’t going to be strong enough and hoped Marlene or Mary had some backup.
“How about something we don’t all know?” Mary scolded jokingly.
“I’m a werewolf!” Remus blurted before gulping down as much wine as he could.
Marlene stared at him for a minuet. He was kidding right? But as he chugged down the wine it was pretty clear that he wasn’t kidding. “Remmey…” She started and then stopped. She didn’t really know what to say to that. No wonder he had been so stressed, the end of school meant, for him, pretty much the end of normalicy. Unfortunatly no one would really hire him with his condition. She stared at him for another moment. “Well, I think this calls for some Firewhiskey.” She said pulling the bottle from the bag.
“Agreed.” Mary boomed. She couldn’t help but feel sympathetic toward Remus. “You’ll be okay Rem. You know we are all here for you.”

I have a better idea, well i suppose it’s along the same lines. Did you know you can buy chocolate wine? I’m going to get my brother to send me some. Then I think you and I should steal him away and let him vent to us. I think that’s what he needs.

I have my next class with him so I’ll make sure to tell him.
